Webby Awards, known also as “internet Oscars” has published the nominees and honorees of the 27th edition, among which is also Truhoma’s campaign #AIArtNotHumanWar.
Truhoma and Pristop in the company of “internet Oscars”
Out of 14,000 entries from around the world, our #AIArtNotHumanWar campaign, designed with advertising agency Pristop, was one of the 20% of projects to receive an Honourable Mention in the Social Campaigns for Public Good and Activism category. This is the first Slovenian recognition at the Webby Awards, which we are extremely proud of, and will put Truhoma and Pristop in the prestigious gallery of "Internet Oscars".
What are Webby Awards?
The Webby Awards are the leading international awards for excellence on the internet, presented annually by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. The Academy is made up of more than 3,000 leading Internet professionals, technology innovators, business people, visionaries, creative celebrities and former Webby winners and nominees.
Among honored and nominated creative agencies this year are R/GA, BBDO, Publicis, Serviceplan Germany, McCann, Droga5, Media.Monks.
Among big media brands are HBO, BBC, Al Jazeera, Netflix, Disney, National Geographic. Among tech brands – Apple, Meta, OpenAI, Spotify, Sony etc.
2023 is also a big year for entertainment stars at The Webbies with Harry Styles, Doja Cat, Mr Beast, Jimmy Kimmel, Lizzo, Selena Gomez, Post Malone, RuPaul, Black Pink and Serena Williams among nominees.
